The Go-Gauge Pro is a go/no-go gauge designed to measure the spigot sizes of spin-on automotive filters (both oil and fuel) and hydraulic filters.
It measures both thread diameter and pitch – imperial and metric.
The GGP-Common kit features nineteen gauges with thread sizes that you will most likely need.
This kit replaces the thread pitch gauges (you know the ones with the jagged teeth that don’t work) and Vernier callipers that can tell you the thread diameter but not if it's metric or imperial.
These tools are made from ABS plastic which was chosen for its durability, resistance to solvents, and production accuracy.
The gauges fit snugly in the GGP rack - they won't spill anywhere. The gauges will also mount on a 3/8" socket holder.
Identifying the correct thread size is so important when using a manufacturer's attribute search. If you don't know it, you are just guessing.
